One Pot Stroganoff
1 1/2 pounds hamburger or round steak cut -- into small chunks 4 cups egg noodles 1 1/2 cups beef broth 1 1/2 cups sour cream garlic powder -- to taste salt and pepper -- to taste 2 Tablespoons Worcestershire sauce 1 cup water 1 pound fresh mushrooms 1 each onion -- chopped
Brown your meat over a medium heat in a 12 inch Dutch oven. Add onions and mushrooms cooking until tender. Drain grease then add the rest of the ingredients except the sour cream. Cover and simmer over low heat for 35 to 40 minutes stirring often until noodles are tender. Check often you may need to add more broth. Stir in sour cream and heat through.
