   Cornbread

   1      cup              flour
   1      cup              sugar (more if desired)
   1      teaspoon      salt
   1      cup               milk
   1      cup               yellow corn meal
   4      teaspoons     baking powder
   2      each             eggs
   1      cup              oil

Mix flour, corn meal, sugar, backing powder and salt. Beat eggs and add milk and oil. Pour into dry ingredients and beat until smooth. Pour into a well oiled 12" Dutch oven. Bake at 350 - 400 degrees. Bake for 10 minutes, remove from coals and continue baking with heat from top only for an additional 10 - 15 minutes. Or until bread is golden brown
