Description: Here is the first Burlescombe Church picture cropped and enhanced. This seems to help a little. Perhaps
we have family that have expertise in this area.

Description: Here is second of the Burlescombe Church pictures
enhanced a little. I can't decide if it's really an improvement. Kris, you won't hurt my feelings if you want a
more professional shot.

Description: On the road into Burlescombe (pronounced Bur-les'-cum). You can see our British cousin Gordon Woodbury
at the town marker, the church just behind, and the town beyond. We've never yet been able to prove our connection
to the many Woodburys who lived in this area, but
then no one has ever done a sweep looking for ALL Woodburys. We hope
to be able to piece the family lines together eventually. Gordon arranged for the church warden to meet us and
let us see inside the church.

and type of paint give away the age.

Description: The town of Burlescombe, Devonshire, England, from the roof of the Church Tower. You can see the quaint
village against the gently rolling hills. It's so green and only March. The climb up the tower was eventful. We
rang the five bells that are tuned together at the half-way point. The steps were very small and worn so we took
them slowly. I was somewhat dusty, but very happy afterwards.
